Open Question: How much does it cost to maintain a home near Villa Park, IL (DuPage County)?
I’m considering buying a single family home near Villa Park, IL (60181) and the numbers I’m looking at as far as mortage+insurance a month are going to be cheaper than the apartment I rent now. My only worry is that I won’t be able to afford the cost of upkeep. Can anyone tell me everything I need to keep in consideration. I don’t want to go into this with one eye open, it scares me to think of going bankrupt at the age of 21.

I’m in a marriage when I been married for only 5 months.My parents or my sister don’t like my wife because she has a alcohol problem.She drinks every other day and they feel she is a bad woman for me and that she is bringing me down spiritually and every other way.Since I been with her I feel like I’m not going anywhere we are behind in our bills and we both work.Like right now we are two months behind in our mortage and she took her check and went shopping she bought me a outfit and herself one and her two daughters one.I feel the bills are more important.It’s like all she wants to do is drink, travel,shop and go to different events.We been going through some problems since we been married.When we have problems I call my parents for their advice.My wife calls her sister her 23 year old daughter and some of her friends and tells them whats going on in our marriage.Her kids don’t like me her 23 year old daughter and her 19 year old son and 17 year old daughter who is pregnant staying in my home.The 23 year old and the 19 year old are out on their own,but her 17 and 5 year old stay with me.My wife’s 19 year old son said that he never liked me at all he was telling that to his older sister, my 10 year old daughter heard it and she told me that my wife son is a great actor and now my 10 year old daughter doesn’t want to be around my wife’s children because of how they feel about me.My daughter doesn’t live with me.My daughter likes my wife and her 5 year old daughter.How do I deal with a 17 year old pregnant step child that doesn’t care for me? As long as I’m married to my wife I have to deal with my wife kids.

My question is this-do you think the Fed Govt will actually NOT make it’s social security/medicare payments starting next week? I understand there are approx 55,000,000 people on SS right now. Many of these folks would be totally in immediate crisis mode. This would filter down to the economy quickly as people couldnt pay thier mortage, rent, credit cards, medical , food. Voting Question: government debt ceiling?
If the Fed Government can’t resolve the debt question by the end of July, will they really default on social security, medicare, veterans benefits programs? To me, that happening would literally collapse our economy-millions of people depend on these programs. We would have a crisis that would make the 2008 bank/ mortage loan collapse look mild.
